Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ Lead Developer for a 6+ month contract role requiring deep identity and access management expertise and the ability to lead technical initiatives across distributed teams.

You will design, develop, and upgrade IdentityIQ solutions, integrate with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP/SCIM, and mentor engineers across global locations while communicating complex concepts to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex enterprise IdentityIQ implementations.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Experience with XML and JSON.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux and application servers.
• Experience with HA/DR architecture.
• Ability to lead autonomously and work across global teams.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on SailPoint IdentityIQ development on complex enterprise implementations and provide L3‑level support
• Design and architect solutions leveraging the IdentityIQ object model, Java APIs, BeanShell, workflows, rules, tasks, aggregation, role management, access requests, and certifications
• Plan and execute major IdentityIQ upgrade initiatives from end to end
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, ServiceNow, SAP, and other enterprise systems
• Optimize application performance through debugging, tuning, and JVM troubleshooting
• Lead technical direction and mentor team members across global locations
• Communicate technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders
