Job summary

Cognizant’s Cloud Infrastructure & Security Services Practice seeks a Senior SailPoint Developer to design, implement, and enhance IdentityIQ capabilities across the organization. You will focus on identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access governance, and platform customization, partnering with business, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure IAM solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation, customization, integration, and administration.
• Strong expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with provisioning, de-provisioning, access certifications, entitlement management, and role management.
• Knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, SSO, MFA and related identity security concepts.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with AD/LDAP, databases, web apps, cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
• Strong development experience using Java, Beanshell, REST APIs and SailPoint customization frameworks.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
• Knowledge of audit, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements in identity management.
• Experience planning and executing SailPoint upgrades and migrations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions including lifecycle management and provisioning.
• Gather and translate business requirements into SailPoint workflows and technical solutions.
• Configure and customize IdentityIQ components like workflows, lifecycle events, and certifications.
• Integrate SailPoint with enterprise apps, Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Manage user identities, roles, entitlements, access requests, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
• Implement RBAC, access certifications, SoD, and governance controls.
• Support SailPoint upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery activities.
• Develop automation scripts and components using Java, Beanshell, PowerShell, Python.
• Support audits, governance initiatives through reporting and evidence collection.
• Maintain technical docs and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with IAM, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
