Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior SailPoint Developer to lead Identity Governance initiatives across the organization. You will design and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, customize workflows, and integrate with AD/LDAP, cloud platforms, and databases.

Strong coding skills in Java and scripting will support automation and maintenance. The role requires 7+ years of SailPoint IIQ experience and a deep understanding of IAM concepts, RBAC, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of identity governance, lifecycle management, provisioning, and access control.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with AD/LDAP, databases, cloud platforms, and apps.
• Hands-on development using Java, REST, and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions including lifecycle management and provisioning.
• Translate business requirements into SailPoint workflows, rules, and technical solutions.
• Configure and customize IdentityIQ components, policies, and integrations.
• Integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications, AD/LDAP, databases, cloud platforms using connectors and APIs.
• Manage user identities, roles, entitlements, access requests, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
• Implement RBAC, access certifications, SoD, and governance controls.
• Support SailPoint upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
• Develop automation scripts using Java, Beanshell, PowerShell, Python.
• Support audit, compliance, governance initiatives through reporting and evidence gathering.
• Maintain technical docs, guides, and workflow diagrams.
• Collaborate with IAM, Security, and Application teams.
