Job summary

Amarr, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, seeks a Safety & Training Manager to lead safety, environmental, compliance and training initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR to reduce risk and strengthen employee capability.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in safety/training in manufacturing, strong OSHA knowledge, and a proven coaching style to develop a culture of learning and continuous improvement on the floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field.
• 5+ years in safety, training, environmental management or manufacturing.
• Experience leading safety and compliance programs within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, environmental compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve safety programs to ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA compliance.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage workers' compensation programs and return-to-work initiatives.
• Oversee PPE, hazardous materials, fire protection, and emergency preparedness.
• Partner with facility leadership to identify risks and implement preventive solutions.
• Foster a safety-first culture with accountability and learning.
