Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. in Montgomery County, PA seeks an experienced Safety Trainer to develop and deliver health and safety training for employees, managers, and contractors.

The goal is to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture. Responsibilities include needs assessments, curriculum design, delivery of training, and specialized areas such as Lockout/Tagout, confined space, working at heights, chemical handling, and emergency response.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in safety related to construction and materials production
• Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT) certification
• Bachelors or Associate degree in occupational safety and health or related field
• OSHA 500 and 501 certifications or equivalent
• BCSP credentials (STS-C, CHST, ASP, CSP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees, managers, and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design comprehensive training materials including presentations, manuals, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging training using lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and e-learning.
• Train supervisors and managers on safety responsibilities and incident investigations.
• Maintain training facilities, equipment, and technology for delivery.
• Maintain meticulous records of training activities for audits and compliance.
