The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Representative to support heavy civil and highway projects across Eastern PA, NJ, and DE.

The role advances through Safety Technician, Safety Specialist, and Senior Health & Safety Specialist tracks, with pay commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include site inspections, incident analyses, training development, and regulatory coordination to ensure a safe work environment across multiple job sites.

Formación

• 5+ years of direct construction safety oversight experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field.
• OSHA 500 Card for Outreach Trainer Authorization.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and construction drawings.
• BCSP credentials such as STS-C, CHST, ASP, or CSP.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects job sites to detect incidents and hazards, documents and recommends corrective measures.
• Conducts root-cause analyses and implements preventive actions.
• Collects incident documentation and submits reports to operations and regulators.
• Develops and conducts safety trainings to promote safe practices.
• Participates in regulatory audits and inspections with the operations team.
• Communicates with Field Safety Specialists and management to ensure coverage.
• Performs industrial hygiene surveys and determines PPE needs.
• Maintains orderly documents and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
