Job summary

H&K Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Safety Representative to oversee safety across heavy civil projects in Eastern PA, New Jersey, and Delaware. The role advances through Safety Technician, Specialist and Senior Health & Safety Specialist levels, with growth opportunities within the safety team.

The position emphasizes on-site safety supervision, incident analysis, training development, and regulatory liaison to ensure compliant, safe project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct construction safety oversight experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally daily and accommodate irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspects job sites to detect health hazards and documents findings with safety software.
• Conducts root cause analysis of incidents and implements preventive measures.
• Collects incident documentation and submits reports to operations and regulators.
• Develops and conducts safety training to promote a safety-focused culture.
• Participates in regulatory audits and assists with corrective actions.
• Coordinates with Field Safety Specialists and management to cover sites.
• Performs industrial hygiene assessments and issues PPE as needed.
• Maintains organized safety records and documents.
