Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead safety performance across the company, coach personnel, and advise on safety policies and programs. The role requires driving accountability and coordinating safety meetings, with field and office duties, including travel during outages or emergencies.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Safety and CSP or equivalent, with five or more years of safety experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.
• Five+ years of safety-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to improve safety performance across the company.
• Coordinate safety meetings planning and evaluation.
• Assist operating groups with compliance to safety regulations.
• Support safety committees and incident analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and analyze safety data to identify trends and improvements.
• Manage injury and illness prevention programs and hazard recognition.
