Ameren is seeking a Senior Safety Supervisor to lead safety performance, coach teams, and ensure compliance with federal and state safety standards across office and field operations. The role involves leading safety projects, analyzing incidents, and supporting outage and emergency response efforts across a dispersed team.

The position requires a Bachelor's (Safety or related) and typically five+ years of safety experience; CSP certification is preferred, with opportunities for advancement

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field; CSP or similar certification preferred; five+ years safety experience required.
• Sr. Safety Supervisor requires five+ years safety experience; master's degree with three+ years preferred; CSP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory safety standards; ability to prioritize and self-direct work; willingness to travel and support outages.

• Provide leadership to improve safety performance and drive accountability across the business segment.
• Assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating safety meetings and support employee safety committees.
• Interpret and advise on federal and state safety regulations for compliance by operating groups.
• Conduct field safety observations and communicate findings to relevant workgroups.
• Provide positive and constructive safety coaching to all personnel.
• Analyze safety incidents to prevent recurrence and develop improvement plans.
• Develop and analyze safety data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist in injury/illness prevention and hazard recognition programs.
• Lead safety projects and collaborate with other safety personnel to share knowledge.
