Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead and coach operating personnel on company safety policies and programs, and to drive top-decile safety performance across the business segment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field; CSP certification is preferred.

Five or more years of safety-related experience is expected, with strong knowledge of regulatory safety standards and exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field is required.
• CSP certification preferred. Five+ years of safety-related experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state safety regulations and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach operating personnel on safety policies and programs.
• Interpret safety regulations and advise on compliance to operating groups.
• Conduct field safety observations and identify risks with follow-up actions.
• Develop and analyze safety data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support injury/illness prevention programs and hazard recognition.
