Job summary

CVR Partners, LP is seeking a Safety and Process Safety Leader to develop and implement occupational safety, health, and process safety programs across our facility. You will coordinate safety training, field verification, and interface with operations, maintenance, projects and contractors.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety (professional certification preferred) and 5+ years of safety experience with knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety; related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Professional Health and/or Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing, revising and implementing Safety and Health policies and systems.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain safety records (LOTO, Permit, etc.).
• Coordinate health initiatives including IH monitoring and testing.
• Develop training guides and train new hires and contractors.
• Support safety continuous improvement and safety program initiatives.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets and OSHA forms.
• Identify health and safety issues and devise solutions.
• Support emergency response activities for medical and hazmat teams.
• Conduct internal audits and field verifications of safety programs.
• Interface with Contractor Safety Program and ISNet World compliance.
• Drive incident reporting and investigations; ensure timely communication to management.
