Job summary

Veranova, a global leader in API development and manufacturing, seeks a Senior Process Safety Engineer to lead the site’s PSM program and drive continuous improvement in safety and compliance. You will partner with operations, engineering, and EHS to strengthen process safety performance and meet regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes hazard analyses, risk mitigation, and technical leadership across PHAs, MOC reviews, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in process safety in pharma or chemical manufacturing.
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
Familiarity with digital process safety systems (MOC/PSM software).

Responsibilities

Lead PHAs across manufacturing processes.
Provide leadership for complex MOC reviews to evaluate hazards and risks.
Lead or support process safety incident investigations and implement improvements.
Provide technical consultation on process safety risk management and safeguards.
Oversee PSM elements including PHA, MOC, process safety information, and incident investigations.
