Qualifications

• 4th year apprentice or above is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Construction may substitute for experience.
• Electrical trade experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion overall safety responsibilities within region or site.
• Monitors compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DNR, etc.
• Collaborates with safety managers to improve safety on site and for the company.
• Interfaces with customers and contractors to promote best safety practices.
• Leads safety-related meetings and pre-planning activities.
• Investigates accidents and recommends corrective actions.
• Provides guidance on employee health, safety, and environmental safety.
