Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Senior Safety Manager at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of safety programs at the business segment level.

You will assess and improve loss prevention initiatives, provide guidance on safety program deployment, and help enforce a management accountability system while ensuring OSHA and all applicable guidelines are met across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve current loss prevention programs.
• Provide direction regarding implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs.
• Assist management with development and enforcement of a management accountability program.
• Evaluate risks and develop guidelines for safety management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and related guidelines.
• Manage contract security personnel at multiple locations.
