Job summary

Red Moon Elite is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and support safety operations across multiple commercial electrical construction projects. You will work closely with project teams to maintain a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance on-site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on safety experience on large commercial construction projects, preferably electrical, data center, healthcare, or industrial environments, and is prepared to spend significant time in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Experience supporting large commercial construction projects.
• Experience managing safety on projects with multiple subcontractors and tight schedules.
• OSHA 30 required or able to obtain immediately.
• Experience with incident investigations, safety audits, and training.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the electrical contractor's company-wide safety program.
• Provide direct safety support for large and complex construction projects.
• Perform regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and observations.
• Work directly with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to identify hazards and correct unsafe conditions.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task plans, site‑specific safety plans, and required safety documentation.
• Coordinate with general contractor and owner safety representatives.
• Lead incident, injury, and near‑miss investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Conduct employee safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
• Maintain OSHA logs and required safety records.
• Monitor PPE, fall protection, ladder, lift, electrical, excavation, and other construction safety requirements.
• Assist project teams with planning high‑risk activities before work begins.
• Track safety performance and communicate trends, concerns, and corrective actions to company leadership.
• Visit multiple active projects and maintain a strong field presence.
• Promote a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, planning, and incident prevention.
