Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support large commercial electrical construction projects in the Raleigh region. This hands-on role focuses on field safety, compliance, training, incident prevention, and backing project leadership.

The ideal candidate has a background in commercial electrical construction and experience supporting large, complex projects, including hospitals or data centers, with projects in the $25MM-$100MM range preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial electrical construction safety.
• Experience with large commercial or industrial projects.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Knowledge of the electrical trade.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong communication and incident investigation skills.
• Comfortable working in active construction environments.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety audits and observations.
• Support and mentor Site Safety Specialists.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and deliver safety training.
• Support site-specific safety planning.
• Participate in OSHA inspections.
• Track safety metrics and identify trends.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field employees.
• Ensure compliance with company safety programs and applicable regulations.
• Help drive a strong safety culture across multiple projects.
