Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Safety Consultant for the Employer Services team in Minnesota. You will serve as a strategic risk management consultant, assessing hazards, evaluating safety programs, and guiding clients to mitigate risks while enhancing safety across their operations.

Requirements include 5+ years of loss control experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of loss control experience including strong knowledge of insurance carrier loss control services, and governmental safety regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Prior success and experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management, and peers.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.
• Must be working towards ARM, CRM, OHST, or CET required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner in providing expert risk management consulting to MMA clients.
• Assess, advise, and support clients in effective management of safety and risk exposure.
• Identify hazards and evaluate current safety programs.
• Recommend practical solutions to mitigate risks across client operations.
