Job summary

FDRsafety, LLC in Kingsport, Tennessee, seeks an experienced Corporate Safety Director to guide safety strategy across industrial projects. You will report to the VP of Operations and lead field- and executive-level safety initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing policies, leading audits, ensuring OSHA compliance, and mentoring safety teams; you will collaborate with operations and craft personnel to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive safety leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial construction, heavy industrial maintenance, or specialty contracting.
• Proven experience leading safety programs across multiple projects and locations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and industrial construction safety requirements.
• Experience with behavior-based safety programs.
• Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence organizational culture and drive accountability.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, presentation, training, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate safety strategy and annual improvement plans.
• Establish safety objectives and KPIs aligned with goals.
• Lead safety programs, audits, and risk assessments across sites.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and customer requirements.
• Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for craft professionals and managers.
• Provide strategic safety leadership to executives and field teams.
• Monitor dashboards and report safety performance to leadership.
