Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Senior Manager Safety to lead programs, systems and culture that protect employees, contractors and communities. You will champion SIF prevention, advance the HOP philosophy, and partner with leaders to reduce risk while improving safety and performance across the company.

You will design and implement safety strategies, guide the safety function, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene or related field.
• 10 years of related experience with 6 years in progressively responsible supervisory roles; valid driver's license.
• CSP/CIH/CUSA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance safety programs, systems and culture across the organization.
• Partner with leaders to identify and mitigate risk and improve safety and operational performance.
• Develop and implement cost-effective safety strategies and programs.
• Benchmark safety practices against peers and best-in-class standards.
• Provide staff support to safety leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
