Job summary

Meds Talent LLC in Vermont seeks an experienced EHS Manager to develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs across our manufacturing sites. You will lead safety initiatives, deliver required training, conduct incident investigations, and collaborate with leaders to mitigate hazards while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong safety performance.

Job description

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs that promote safe work practices and employee engagement.
• Lead safety initiatives that foster a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientation and deliver required annual training in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company requirements.
• Partner with leaders and employees to identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Serve as the primary resource and champion for Safety Committees, Emergency Response Teams, and site leadership.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain all required EHS documentation, permits, records, and regulatory reports.
• Conduct facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What we are seeking:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of of study (e.g., industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, engineering or technical preferred) with 3-5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead EHS programs and influence safety performance at all levels of an organization.
