Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Safety Engineer to help strengthen our safety culture at one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. You will identify hazards, develop controls, and train teams to prevent incidents.

The role requires 7+ years in health and safety, familiarity with OSHA rules, and experience in general industry within a FAB environment. This on-site position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks.
• Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines.
• Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazardous conditions and practices at a semiconductor facility.
• Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; educate others.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.
• Ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements.
• Document and track results to support safety program elements.
• Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
