Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Engineer of Safety to partner with business units, ensuring new and existing equipment complies with applicable codes and standards across buildings. You will lead risk assessments, integrate safety into equipment design, and guide field operations through go-live, with a focus on a safer place to work and shop.

This role requires a BS in engineering or safety, CSP certification, strong communication, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or safety or equivalent experience.
• Certification in Safety (CSP) or related certification.
• Ability to influence and direct partners and leadership.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration.
• Outstanding communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities
