Target is seeking a Senior Engineer of Safety to lead safety program ownership, ensuring new and existing equipment complies with OSHA/ANSI standards. You will partner with Engineering/Facilities and Operations teams to integrate safety controls and manage risk across sites.

You will drive RAP risk assessments, review equipment designs, and guide go-live activities from design to activation, while communicating clearly with stakeholders and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, safety, or equivalent experience.
• Direct or indirect proven Safety leadership.
• Certification in Safety (CSP) or related professional certification/s.
• Ability to influence and direct partners and leadership.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proven knowledge and use of Microsoft products.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety program ownership and ensure equipment modifications comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Partner with design and operations teams to integrate safety systems.
• Conduct risk assessments (RAP) and guide equipment design reviews.
• Support go-live from design to activation and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
• Develop and deploy safety standards and training aligned with regulatory requirements.
