Job summary

Taylor’s Construction, a Quanta Services company, is seeking an experienced Safety Director to steer safety strategy and programs across telecommunications and utility construction operations. You will establish consistent safety expectations, develop field leadership, and ensure workers have training and tools to perform safely.

Collaborate with executives, operations, and safety staff to minimize risk and elevate safety performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive safety experience in telecommunications, utility construction, or related field-based environments.
• 5+ years in a leadership role directing safety programs across multiple crews and sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and client/federal safety requirements.
• Ability to travel extensively to active project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of company-wide safety programs and field expectations.
• Identify high-risk activities and integrate safety into daily construction execution.
• Provide safety leadership and accountability across the organization.
• Conduct field audits, jobsite assessments, and operational reviews across activities.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions and lessons learned.
