Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Safety Director to lead safety strategy across electrical infrastructure projects in the United States. The role focuses on strengthening field safety practices and delivering safe project outcomes through strong leadership and expert program management.

You’ll own company-wide HSE strategies, develop policies, ensure compliance with OSHA and regulations, oversee inspections and investigations, and drive training to embed safety into planning

Qualifications

• Extensive senior safety leadership experience in electrical construction or utility infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA requirements and environmental/regulatory standards.
• Proven track record in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to influence executives and field personnel.
• Relevant safety qualifications or professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of company-wide health and safety strategies.
• Establish and maintain safety policies, procedures and site-specific programmes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, environmental, transport and state regulations.
• Oversee jobsite inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Analyse safety performance, identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, supervisors and field teams.
• Work closely with executive leadership, project managers and field operations to embed safety into project planning and delivery.
• Promote accountability, proactive hazard recognition and continuous improvement across the organisation.
