JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Director to lead environmental, health and safety programs across the region, providing analytics and training to support national safety goals. The role partners with Risk and Insurance, and client solutions teams to drive safety on large industrial and high-tech projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, construction management or related field (Required).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 10+ years construction safety experience (Required).
• 15+ years safety leadership experience (Preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (Required).
• 2+ years budgeting or financial management experience (Required).
• Safety leadership experience on large scale advanced facilities/high tech projects (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Implements, manages and drives environmental, health and safety programs and initiatives.
• Measures environmental, health and safety metrics and provides timely analytics.
• Provides support with Worker’s Compensation claims with Risk and Insurance teams.
• Leads the Drug and Alcohol program.
• Attends internal and external meetings to discuss safety matters and offer timely solutions.
• Designs, leads, and conducts EH&S training for Regional safety team members.
• Leads the investigation team on serious safety matters within the Region.
• Collaborates with safety professionals nationwide to monitor trends and provide recommendations.
• Authors publications for Company communications.
