Job summary

Capstone Logistics seeks a Senior Safety Manager to coordinate and implement EH&S programs across locations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations and Capstone guidelines. The role promotes a strong safety culture through training, risk assessments, and incident reduction.

Responsibilities include site visits, audits, and collaborating with site leadership to integrate safety into daily workflows, while supervising Site Safety Managers and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Safety, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in safety for warehousing and distribution.
• Experience with EPA and OSHA regulations in distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Implement site specific Standard Operating Procedures as requested by the company.
• Perform regular site visits and audits in our facilities.
• Verify adherence to federal, state, and local safety rules (such as OSHA).
• Assist site leadership with developing site EH&S plan and JHA compliance.
