Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Safety Specialist to implement and manage safety policies across the organization. The role supports continuous safety improvement, incident investigations, onboarding, and training to ensure a compliant and safe workplace.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or safety and health, OSHA 10/30, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and 3–5 years of safety experience, with strong reporting, recordkeeping, and emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, safety and health or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of safety experience preferred.
• OSHA10 and OSHA30 required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Experience with industrial safety regulations, programs and procedures.
• Ability to train and educate employees on safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Drive continuous safety improvement using leading and trailing indicators.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims process and incident investigations.
• Coordinate onboarding and safety training; lead weekly safety meetings.
• Conduct safety audits/inspections and document findings.
• Maintain safety records and prepare regulatory and KPI reports.
• Provide First Aid and emergency response as trained; ensure readiness.
