Job summary

The City of Westminster, CO is seeking a Safety Analyst/Senior Safety Analyst to lead a citywide safety program aligned with our mission and SPIRIT values. The role emphasizes relationship-based loss control, education, and guidance to improve safety across divisions.

You will learn each department's operations, oversee training such as SafeStart, support the Citywide Safety Committee, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Engineering, Risk Management, business, psychology, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of safety or risk management experience.
• Knowledge of safety program administration and loss control concepts.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate citywide safety programs and initiatives.
• Lead SafeStart training and safety committee activities.
• Provide guidance on safety-related training and risk management.
