Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Statistical Programmer with strong SAS, R and SQL skills to develop programs for epidemiologists and client needs. The role focuses on RW data analyses, data transformations, and generating tables, listings, and graphs while ensuring quality and alignment with study protocols.

The position requires experience with healthcare data sources and OMOP CDM, plus ICD terminology knowledge. Collaboration across teams and adherence to regulatory guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive programming experience in SAS, R, and SQL.
• Experience with RW data analyses and epidemiology support.
• Knowledge of ICD terminology and OMOP CDM.
• Ability to transform healthcare data and generate analysis datasets, tables and figures.
• Strong data quality and validation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to support epidemiologists and client needs.
• Create analysis datasets, tables, listings, and graphs per the statistical analysis plan.
• Validate outputs and resolve discrepancies with team members.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians and data scientists on study programming tasks.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
