Syneos Health is seeking a data-focused statistical programmer to support epidemiologists and clients in RW data analyses. You will work with Optum, HealthVerity and IQVIA PharmMetrics data, develop analysis datasets, tables and graphs, and ensure protocol alignment.

The role requires SAS or R, SQL, and familiarity with ICD terminology and OMOP CDM. Experience with AI/ML workflows and GitHub is a plus; minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with RW data analyses and programming for epidemiologist support.
• Familiarity with eHR and claims data sources.
• Proficiency in SAS or R and SQL; Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of study protocols, data specs, and analysis datasets.

Responsibilities

• Open to US, Canada, and UK only; no sponsorship.
• Develop programs, tables, listings and graphs from RW data according to SAP.
• Review outputs for protocol conformance and data quality; escalate issues.
• Transform healthcare data into a common format (OMOP CDM).
• Work with BI and programming teams; ensure project documentation and SOP compliance.
• Minimal travel may be required.
