Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a skilled Statistical Programmer to join our Clinical Solutions team in Santa Monica. The role focuses on heavy programming and data review for RW data analyses, supporting epidemiologists and sponsors with analysis datasets, tables, listings, and graphs. Applicants should have experience with SAS or R, SQL, and be comfortable handling complex, messy data.

Familiarity with OMOP CDM and AI/ML workflows is a plus. Salary ranges reflect the U.S.

Qualifications

• Extensive programming experience in SAS, R or Python in a RW environment.
• SQL experience required for data manipulation and extraction.
• Experience with cohort derivation, index date definitions, and data cleaning.
• Familiarity with eHR and claims data sources (Optum/HealthVerity/IQVIA PharmMetrics).

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to create analysis datasets, tables, listings and graphs.
• Review outputs against protocol requirements and escalate issues.
• Collaborate with Biostatisticians, Epidemiologists and programmers to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Prepare data specifications and study protocols, addressing messy data and data standards.
