Job summary

Oplinx in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to help expand a SaaS platform for faculty and students. You will develop tools to remix content, build analytics, and integrate with LMS and third-party APIs.

Be part of architectural decisions, write scalable code, and collaborate with a team; 8+ years experience, Ruby/Rails, API design, React, testing with RSpec, Git, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of solid programming experience.
• 5+ years of Ruby/Rails development.
• Experience with API design and integration.
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Be a core stakeholder in architectural and technology decisions.
• Write highly scalable code that is maintainable, reusable, and thoroughly tested.
• Self-manage your technical deliverables from idea through completionCollaborate with other developers on: documentation, code reviews, daily stand ups, retrospectives, and anything necessary to ensure team success.
• Adhere to coding standards and processes; suggest better processes when needed.
