Job summary

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust backend solutions, optimize databases, and maintain high-quality code through tests and reviews.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in Rails, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and modern backend architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development and database engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
• Experience optimizing databases for high-volume API environments.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and client-server architecture.
• Proficiency with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy back-end applications using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain code quality through unit tests, code reviews, and automation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues to ensure smooth operation.
