Job summary

Oplinx in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to help expand a SaaS platform for faculty and students. You will develop tools to remix content, build analytics, and integrate with LMS and third-party APIs.

Be part of architectural decisions, write scalable code, and collaborate with a team; 8+ years experience, Ruby/Rails, API design, React, testing with RSpec, Git, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of solid programming experience.
• 5+ years of Ruby/Rails development.
• Experience with API design and integration.
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL.

Senior Ruby Rail Engineer job at Oplinx. New York, NY.

You’ll be joining a team to expand current SAAS platform capabilities for higher education faculty and students. Some of the work will include:

• Developing tools for faculty to "remix” interactive, educational content from different resources
• Developing deep analytics into how students consume, highlight, share, or comment on content
• Developing online assessment tools
• Developing studying tools for students
• Working with a variety of third party APIs
• Integrating with other LMS platforms (Learning Management System)
