Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY for a full-time, in-person role. You will own large features end-to-end in a large Rails-based system, collaborating with product partners and across engineering to deliver maintainable, testable software.

You will work on a modular Rails stack with React frontend, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on high-quality production code and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant real-world experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience owning large product features from concept through delivery.
• Strong experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Comfortable partnering closely with product managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own large product features end-to-end from concept to delivery.
• Break down ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
• Clarify requirements with product partners and manage scope.
• Communicate delivery expectations and progress proactively.
• Review code with emphasis on maintainability and long-term quality.
• Write and maintain automated tests as a core responsibility.
