Job summary

The Misch Group in Dallas, TX seeks a seasoned Registered Professional Land Surveyor to lead the Surveying Department and drive complex land surveying projects. You will supervise survey teams, ensure quality deliverables, and contribute to client engagements and business development.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas RPLS license with 8+ years of progressive surveying experience and strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.

Qualifications

• Active RPLS license in Texas.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive land surveying experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client communication skills.
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, platting, and construction staking.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute surveying services on diverse projects.
• Lead and mentor field and office teams on boundary surveys, plats, easements, and construction layouts.
• Prepare scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and schedules for survey projects.
• Process and post-process field data using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop and review final deliverables including plats and survey exhibits.
• Coordinate field crews and production efforts, optimizing time and cost.
• Support business development through client engagement and industry events.
• Maintain expert knowledge of boundary law and survey best practices.
