Job summary

Fresche Solutions is seeking a Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst to lead analysis, design, development, and support of IBM i applications and EDI integrations. You will leverage RPG, DB2 for i, and Cleo Extol to modernize legacy IBM i environments while ensuring reliable data exchange with trading partners and customers.

You'll work with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, integrated solutions, mentor peers, and drive structured release processes in a flexible North

Qualifications

• Extensive IBM i expertise with proven experience building enterprise solutions.
• Strong experience with Cleo Extol EDI for reliable partner integrations.
• Deep RPG knowledge across RPG III/IV, RPGLE and Free-Form RPG, Embedded SQL.
• Experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML) and DB2 for i.
• Ability to connect IBM i apps with external systems and APIs; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, development, and support of IBM i applications and EDI integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions using Cleo Extol; ensure reliable exchanges.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements and troubleshoot issues across the project lifecycle.
• Architect and develop RPG-based solutions; write tests and ensure quality.
• Manage data exchanges with EDI standards; ensure partner and regulatory compliance.
• Document interfaces, maps, and business processes; mentor junior team members.
• Modernize legacy IBM i systems into scalable, integrated solutions.
