Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Senior RPA Developer (Programmer V) to lead design, development, and support of robotic process automation initiatives using Blue Prism, Power Automate, and Azure. You will enable automation of complex business processes across the agency in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with RPA development, with at least 4 years specifically using Blue Prism.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with SQL/No‑SQL databases.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in working on the full software development life cycle in delivery enterprise solution using Blue Prism.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies – (Scrum, for example).

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
• Oversees the proper direction for the architectural design, planning, production support, and customer services for custom software systems, existing production & development applications, and statewide and interagency interfaces. (35%)
• Oversees the coding, testing, and debugging of programs and the preparation of test data. (20%)
• Provides technical advice and assistance to management and technical staff in matters related to analysis and programming activities.
• Provides advanced business process expertise in analysis and design support to business process interfaces with various external agencies and service providers. (20%)
• Assists in the planning, scheduling, assigning, and coordinating of analysis and programming activities. (10%)
• Formulates business policies, procedures, and standards consistent with the agency standardization efforts within HHSC. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned. (5%)
