Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an Automation Solutions Engineer to design, build, and support scalable automation across TIERS and related systems. You will create reusable AWS infrastructure modules with Terraform, expand RPA capabilities with UiPath and Power Automate, and develop AI-enabled workflows with Python and RESTful APIs.

Telework eligibility may apply; travel up to 5% is required, with a focus on Austin-based operations.

Qualifications

Five+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure automation.
At least three years in developing automation solutions using Python and RESTful APIs.
Experience with enterprise RPA platforms such as UiPath or Power Automate.
Experience designing reusable infrastructure modules for large-scale development environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reusable AWS infrastructure modules using Terraform Enterprise.
Develop secure, scalable cloud solutions to help developers provision infrastructure efficiently.
Extend enterprise RPA capabilities with UiPath and Power Automate to optimize workflows.
Create AI-enabled workflows and integrate Python scripts and RESTful APIs.
Provide support to ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical systems.
