Job summary

TRC, a global environmental and engineering firm, is hiring multiple ROW/Land Agents to support a large project in Alabama. You will assist the ROW Supervisor, secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants, and help develop ROW options, easements, and construction lines.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or relevant ROW experience, IRWA designation or Notary Public, and proven ability to work independently with strong negotiation and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred or relevant experience.
• SR/WA or other IRWA designation Notary Public.
• Experience in work related to right of way or real estate services provided to public organizations.
• Knowledge of real property interests, eminent domain and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist ROW Supervisor in guidance to ROW Agents.
• Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interest, and related documents as directed by ROW Supervisor.
• Develop construction line from ROW conditions and restrictions.
• Maintain a detailed diary of contacts with property owners and tenants and prepare weekly activity reports.
• Maintain a detailed log of all payments.
• Negotiate damage settlements as required.
• Support construction activities and document ROW activities.
• Adhere to project Safety Plan.
• Travel as required by job requirements.
