Job summary

US FOODS® is seeking a Sr. Router to schedule and sequence routes using RoadNet/Mainframe, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries. The role operates on a night shift (1:00 pm–9:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday) and requires collaboration with Sales and Warehouse teams to align on delivery feasibility.

Compensation varies by experience and location. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in a related environment, strong English communication skills, and solid computer proficiency for data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years in related environment.
• Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations.
• Must have computer skills — data entry, general report generation, spreadsheet design.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RoadNet/Mainframe to schedule and sequence routes.
• Balance loads per trailer by size and weight of product and pallets to be loaded.
• Build cost-effective routes while meeting customer needs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Warehouse Departments to determine delivery feasibility.
• Prepare daily reports (route changes, sequence changes, new customer requests).
• Maintain routing software system parameters (RoadNet and Mainframe).
