Job summary

US Foods is seeking a skilled Router Planner to schedule and sequence routes with RoadNet and Mainframe, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective deliveries that meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams, prepare routine reports, and adapt to changes with accuracy. A High School Diploma is required, and 4+ years in a related field is expected, with US Foods training available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 4 years in a related environment; training provided at US Foods Systems.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English related to job duties and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours and any overtime.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and sequence routes using RoadNet and Mainframe.
• Build cost‑effective routes that meet customer needs.
• Balance loads per trailer by size and weight of product and pallets.
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse to determine delivery feasibility.
• Prepare daily reports: route changes, sequence changes, new customer requests.
