Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems is seeking a Lead Site Service Driver in Creedmoor, TX. This role coordinates daily with Logistics and Systems Managers to ensure efficient routes and productivity, while maintaining client service standards.

You will drive, complete service and delivery routes, mentor drivers, and serve as a liaison for events. Must hold a valid Class C license, vaccination proof, and be available for flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of medium or heavy truck driving experience.
• Able to work scheduled shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must have and maintain proof of Hepatitis B and tetanus vaccination, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient use of electronic technology within eight weeks of hire date.
• Ability to understand and execute work orders communicated via onboard technology.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and to complete logs and records.

Responsibilities

• Report to work at designated time in company uniform and with required PPE.
• Complete service, pick-up and delivery routes without assistance.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Department and system managers.
• Train and mentor department drivers.
• Serve as the customer liaison for special events, as assigned.
• Available for scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Report any moving violations incurred during work hours to the supervisor at the end of the shift.
• Responsible for and required to report any personal moving violations or accidents to their supervisor within 72 hours.
• Responsible for maintaining a valid Medical Card and a valid Driver’s License.
• Other duties as assigned.
