Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related medium or heavy truck driving experience.
• Available to work scheduled shifts, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Excellent heavy truck driving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient use of electronic technology within eight weeks of hire date.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential system truck and load/unload containers for customers.
• Ensure truck is fueled, safe to operate and paperwork is on board before leaving the yard.
• Follow route plan and document changes using routing software and route sheets.
• Record time at each customer stop in routing software.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and file Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with safety regulations and DOT requirements.
• Work scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Report any safety concerns, incidents or violations to supervision promptly.
• Maintain a valid Medical Card and CDL; comply with all regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
