Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems is seeking a Route Helper to support Residential Drivers in delivering efficient, safe, and compliant service. You will help verify routes, maintain PPE and vehicle cleanliness, and communicate effectively with the driver and dispatch to ensure timely operations.

The role requires independent work, basic math, and fluent English, with computer aptitude for fleet software. Weekend and holiday shifts are available to meet operation needs.

Qualifications

• Must work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math ability.
• Verbal and written fluency in English.
• Demonstrate at least minimal computer aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Report to work at designated times in proper company uniform and with required PPE.
• Review route sheets, identify new stops and stops not on route.
• Assist driver by reading notes and discussing the day’s route as needed.
• Assist in collecting the route as sequenced on route sheet or fleet routing software; note problems or changes.
• Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained before leaving the facility.
• Work productively, safely, and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Must be available for shifts on weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
