Job summary

Shell is hiring a Rotating Equipment Inspector in Cranberry Township, PA to join the Site Technical Engineering team and ensure equipment reliability across operations. You will interface with maintenance, operations, and engineering to troubleshoot rotating systems, review repairs, and guide reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree preferred.
• 8+ years of mechanical equipment experience; petrochemical experience preferred.
• Experience with vibration monitoring and lubrication management.
• Experience supporting MOC, PSSR, turnaround planning, and shutdown scope development.
• Ability to mentor operations and maintenance teams and provide reliability guidance.

Responsibilities

• Read and respond to rotating equipment issues in operations shift reports.
• Review maintenance notifications and prior day activities.
• Attend daily Production Team Meeting and help prioritize rotating equipment work.
• Troubleshoot abnormal conditions and respond to maintenance requests.
• Review equipment repairs and perform failure analysis where needed.
• Develop equipment repair specifications and QA holds/witness points.
• Maintain vibration KPIs and perform monthly monitoring reviews.
• Support outages, turnarounds, and MOC/PSSR activities as required.
