Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Rope Access Level III Inspector to lead on-site rope access operations and perform advanced inspections in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial settings.

You will supervise rigging, rescue planning, and mentoring of Level I/II technicians, ensuring compliance with SPRAT/IRATA standards and TEAM safety protocols.

Strong certifications (SPRAT/IRATA III) and 3–5+ years of field experience are required; travel and overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid SPRAT or IRATA Level III certification in good standing.
• 3–5+ years of field experience in industrial rope access operations.
• Proven leadership ability in rigging, job planning, and worksite supervision.
• Familiarity with SPRAT/IRATA guidelines and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site rope access team lead, overseeing rigging, access, and descent/ascent activities per SPRAT or IRATA Level III standards.
• Perform complex inspections in elevated or confined locations using rope access techniques.
• Lead daily safety briefings, rescue planning, and job hazard analysis.
• Supervise Level I and II rope access personnel; ensure safe work practices.
• Interface with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to coordinate access plans and inspection deliverables.
• Install rope systems, anchors, lifelines, and safety zones per standards.
• Participate in rescue scenarios and ensure rescue gear is maintained and ready.
