Job summary
TEAM Industrial Services is seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Level III Inspector to lead rope access operations and perform advanced inspections in field environments. This role acts as both worksite supervisor and technical resource, overseeing rigging, rescue planning, and mentoring junior rope access personnel.
The ideal candidate holds multi-discipline inspection certifications and has extensive experience managing rope access scopes in refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial
Qualifications
- Valid SPRAT or IRATA Level III certification in good standing.
- 3-5+ years of field experience in industrial rope access.
- Proven leadership in rigging, planning, and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site rope access team and oversee rigging, access, and descent/ascent per SPRAT/IRATA Level III.
- Perform complex inspections in elevated or confined locations using rope access.
- Lead daily safety briefings, rescue planning, and job hazard analysis.
- Supervise Level I and II rope access personnel and ensure safe practices.
- Coordinate access plans and inspection deliverables with project managers and clients.
- Install rope systems, anchors, lifelines, and safety zones per standards.
- Lead rescue scenarios and maintain rescue gear.
- Ensure OSHA SPRAT/IRATA compliance and TEAM safety protocols.
- Review inspection data and assist QA/QC and reporting.
