Job summary

NTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineering/architecture professional to mentor the Roofing Department and lead complex roofing and building enclosure projects across Michigan and regional locations.

You will guide project teams, review scopes, and ensure adherence to NTH quality standards. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of related experience, hold PE/RA/RRC credentials (RRO/REWC/RWC/CDT/PMP preferred), and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Building Science, or a related field.
• Professional credentials: PE, RA, or RRC; preferred: RRO, REWC, RWC, CDT, PMP.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible experience in roofing and building enclosure consulting, architecture, engineering, construction, or related professional services.
• Experience leading complex roofing and building enclosure consulting assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Michigan and occasionally to regional project locations.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop technical staff across all levels of the Roofing Department.
• Assist Project Managers in developing the technical capabilities of project teams.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical presentations.
• Promote professional growth through mentorship related to technical expertise and client service.
• Assist Project Managers in coordinating technical workflow and project execution.
• Review scopes of work, proposals, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Provide continuity of project leadership and technical oversight when necessary.
